Here's the technical expalnation - The illumination created by Lumistrip is radio frequency generated light rather than conventional incandescent light, so the generated spectrum beam is visible in its original form through fog, smoke, and rain. Also, unlike an incandescent light sources, the light beam is not scattered over distance or by airborne particles such as dust, smoke and water vapour, so the users exact location is easier to pinpoint. All this makes the Lumistrip a unique technology far more effective than other conventional safety clothing.
